CDPI is preparing to launch a project to compile a comprehensive inventory of dockland and maritime heritage assets on the River Clyde / Firth of Clyde.

If you are aware of any sites or assets that you think should be included in our survey please contact us via the CDPI website – http://cdpi.org.uk/contact_form.aspx

The types of assets that we wish to identify and record include:

  • Dock, port and harbour sites
  • Piers and ferry landings
  • Buildings and other structures
  • Historic ships
  • Recoverable derelict ships
  • Non-moveable devices e.g. cranes and other mechanical apparatus
  • Artefact Features such as capstans, crane tracks, etc
  • Other assets of interest
